KrushiSanjeevini ("we", "our", "the app"), operated by Rahul Doddagowdru Niranjan, respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

1. Information we collect

Account details — your name, mobile number, and (optionally) email address, provided when you register.
Location — your device's approximate location, used only to show local weather and nearby market (APMC) prices. We do not store your location history.
Payment information — when you pay the one-time ₹79 registration fee, the payment is processed securely by Razorpay. We do not store your card, UPI, or bank details on our servers.
Photos — if you use the crop-diagnosis feature, the photo you upload is sent for analysis and is not shared with third parties for any other purpose.

2. How we use your information

To create and secure your account.
To show you relevant local weather, market prices, and farming content.
To process your one-time registration payment.
To send a one-time password (OTP) for login or password reset, via SMS or email.

3. Information sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only with trusted service providers needed to run the app — for example, Razorpay (payments), Firebase (secure OTP login), and Microsoft Azure / Google (voice and AI features) — and only to the extent required to provide the service.

4. Data security

Your password is stored in encrypted (hashed) form. Payment data is handled entirely by Razorpay's PCI-DSS compliant systems. We use industry-standard measures to protect your data.

5. Your choices

You can stop sharing location any time from your device settings. You can request deletion of your account and data by contacting us (see Contact Us page).

6. Children

The app is intended for adult farmers and is not directed at children under 13.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this page.
